Texas Solar Incentives and Rebates

There are a number of solar incentives that can be taken advantage of to help you save money on your initial cost, save on your monthly energy bills, and make getting solar panels hassle-free. In this section, we’ll go over some incredible solar incentives including:

Federal Solar Tax Credit

Thousands of Texas homeowners are saving thousands in solar panels costs by taking advantage of the Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC). The ITC allows you to potentially claim 30% of the total cost of your solar panel system as a tax credit. This tax credit includes labor and equipment, as well as solar batteries. If you do not utilize all your tax credits within the tax year, the tax credit gets rolled over to the following year.

Net Metering in Mission, TX

If your Mission energy provider offers a net metering policy, then you could be seeing huge savings on your monthly energy bills. Net metering is a policy that allows energy providers to credit solar panel system owners for any excess energy sent back to the grid. In other words, any energy your home produces but does not consume will be credited towards your bill after it is sent back into the electrical grid.

Utility Company Solar Rebates
